Manage companies
With apaleo, you can define and manage your corporate customers, and specify which rate plans they can book. When setting up your companies, be careful: the code cannot be changed later on! But all other fields can be changed at any time.
Just having the company is rather useless, so go ahead and specify the rate plans that this company can book. You can assign many rate plans to one company, and also make one rate plan bookable by more than one company.
When you add a rate plan to a company, it can be booked using the corporate code 'company-rate plan'. For example, when you add the rate plan "DBL_FLX" to the company "APALEO", the rate plan is bookable under "APALEO-DBL_FLX".
Reservations
First step when creating a reservation is requesting offers. When you specify a corporate code, you will get offers for all publicly available rate plans, plus the ones available for this code.
In case the guest only remembers at check-in or check-out that he's at this company, you can add the information to the reservation later on. It is not possible to change the company, or remove it.
Invoices
When a company is specified on the reservation, you can create an invoice for it.
For each company, you can specify if it can check out on accounts receivables or not. If the option is checked, you can create an invoice with an open amount still to be paid.
Reports
You can filter for companies in the general manager report. That allows you to see how much money you actually make from that one company that promised you tons of business for a discounted rate.
You can also get a full report of invoices and their VAT split (Reports -> Overview). Depending on your country, your finance department might want to get those.
