Managing Extras And Services
View And Edit Extras
In the Reservation > Extras section, you can view and edit the extra services connected to a reservation.
Some Rate Plans may include extras automatically. In the example below, the Rate Plan "Include breakfast" adds both Breakfast and a Welcome Drink by default.
These extras appear as charges in the folio of the reservation for Peter Pan.
Add Services
In addition to the included extras, you can click + Add services in the Extras section to add more services manually. In this example, High Speed WiFi was added for the entire stay. The service is automatically added to the guest's folio.
Remove Services
You can remove booked services at any time, as long as the service date has not passed. Click the arrow next to the service and select Delete undelivered service.
Service Summary Report
You can see a summary of all extras and services during a selected period under Reports > Ordered Services. You can also download the report using the export button. Choose the service type and date range as needed.
FAQ
Will manually added extras stay in a reservation made through an OTA like Booking.com if the OTA sends an update?
No. In this case, Booking.com is considered the source of truth, so any changes you made may be overwritten. If you add a service or edit the reservation, we recommend adding a reservation comment to track your changes or booking this service after the reservation is checked in.
Will manually added extras directly on the folio appear in the Ordered Services report?
No. Apaleo only includes services added through the Extras tab in the reservation in the report.
