What is Instant Arrival

The Instant arrival functionality is meant to cover situations, where you have a last-minute reservation or a walk-in guest.

Benefits of Instant Arrival:

Using Instant arrival enables you:

• to book a reservation for the "currently running" night (time slice), instead of having to add the reservation for the upcoming night and
• to apply the rate of the previous business day, without having to manually adjust the price to "the one of yesterday".

Theory to Action

A) Multi-night booking:

1. Add a booking for the current date (Dec 14 from our example).
2. Before selecting the rate plan, activate the Instant arrival toggle:
   
   
   
   
3. Select the rate plan and continue with the process as usual.
4. Check in the reservation (in the desired room if applicable).
5. Apaleo will apply the rate of the previous business day.

B) One-night Booking:

1. Add a booking for the current date (Dec 14 from our example) with the same departure date
   
   
   
   
2. Select the rate plan and continue with the process as usual.
3. Check in the reservation (in the desired room if applicable).
4. Apaleo will apply the rate of the previous business day.

FAQ

How can I create the Instant Arrival from a copy reservation?
A: The Instant Arrival option is only available when creating a new reservation and is not accessible when copying a reservation.
