Guests often need to modify their reservation either before or during their stay. This could involve changing arrival or departure dates, adjusting the number of guests in the room, or opting for a different room type.
Amend stay

The "Amend Stay" feature allows you to:
- Extend or reschedule your reservation.
- Switch to a different room type.
- Adjust the number of adults and children.
- Optionally, set custom arrival and departure times instead of the standard check-in or check-out times.
All these changes depend on availability. The first step is to check for current rates and availability before proceeding with any modifications.
- When you enter your new travel dates, the system will display all the details that have changed from your original reservation.
- When you search for rates, you'll see all available alternative offers for your reservation.
Recalculate prices:
If you choose this option, the system will re-calculate prices for all days based on current rates. This is necessary if you want to change the room type for days that are already booked. If you do not select this option, only surcharges for the number of people in the room will be re-calculated, and existing days won't be modified.
- Once you select an offer, you'll see a preview of your updated reservation reflecting the changes you've made. This preview allows you to review and manually adjust prices per night if necessary.
- Check if everything looks correct. If it does, confirm your changes by selecting "Apply Changes." If you decide to revert to your original reservation details, choose "Reset" to go back to how it was before.
Shorten stay
If a guest needs to arrive later or depart earlier, you can use the "Shorten Stay" option. Simply select the new arrival and departure dates.
*Note: If the customer has already paid the full amount, you won't be able to shorten the stay any further.
Change prices
If you entered incorrect prices during booking or need to apply discounts, you can still adjust them afterward.

Click on "Change Prices" to modify the prices for one or more nights.
Confirm your changes by selecting "Apply Changes," or click "Cancel" to revert to the original prices.
Change room assignment
To change the room assignment, you can use the "Assign Unit" button.
- By default, when you change the room, it will apply for the entire duration of the stay. For reservations that span multiple days, you also have the option to change the room for specific date ranges.
You can view the assigned units for each night on the cards. If the category of the assigned unit differs from the originally booked category, you'll see a colored square next to the assigned unit to indicate this.
To change the room assignment for specific nights:
- Click on "Assign Unit" in the action menu (the three dots).
- Choose the desired room from the options available.
- Confirm your selection by clicking "Assign."
