User Management Audit Logs track staff management actions in your Apaleo account. They help you improve security, support compliance, and see changes to user access and permissions.
What Gets Logged
The audit logs record these actions:
- User Invitations: When new users are invited, including who sent the invitation and when.
- Role Assignments: When user roles are assigned or changed, including the previous and new roles.
- Property Access Changes: When users are added to or removed from specific properties.
- User Deactivations: When user accounts are deactivated, including who performed the action.
Accessing Audit Logs
Who Can Access
Account Admins can access all audit logs.
How To Access
- In your Apaleo account, go to Audit / Logs (context: Account).
- Select User Management.
- Use filters to narrow results by date range, action type, user, or app.
Understanding Log Entries
Each log entry includes:
- Timestamp: The exact date and time the action happened.
- Actor: The person who performed the action.
- Action: What happened (for example, Invitation Created, User Access Changed, or User Deactivated).
- Affected User: The user impacted by the action.
