Room Rack Overview
The Room Rack displays all the rooms and their current status. It's a visual tool that helps you quickly understand room occupancy, availability, and conditions, facilitating efficient hotel operations.
Actions on the Room Rack
Assign Rooms
You can assign rooms from the "unassigned" tab on the top right. There are 2 ways:
1. Click and select
Click the reservation in the right panel and select the unit you want to assign by clicking on it:
2. Drag and drop
Click the reservation and drag it to the unit you desire to assign:
Assign to other unit groups:
In both scenarios, you can assign a unit to another unit group by turning this toggle on.
Manage Reservations
Click on the reservation to open a window where you can check the reservation in and out, or see reservation details.
Add Maintenance Slots
You can add maintenance slots by clicking the +Add button on the top left.
Filtering and Sorting
You can filter by unit group type, maintenance type, arrivals and departure dates, unit attributes, and booking IDs (if you e.g. want to show all reservations from one group).
You can sort by units in alphabetical order, or by unit group.
FAQ:
Can I check in a guest from the room rack?
Yes, when clicking on the reservation within the room rack, a side window opens, which gives you the chance to review the reservation and perform further actions, such as check-in or to cancel it.
What are the different colors for reservations in the room rack?
Reservations are displayed in three colors: grey = checked out, white = confirmed, not checked in, orange = in-house.
How can I see 2 months view?
In order to see more information, for example 2 months, you need to zoom out. Room Rack needs the space to present this information, so zooming out in your browser you will have the space and you can see the 2 month overview.
