To request additional payment methods:
- Open a support ticket with Apaleo, mentioning the name of your merchant(s). You can find the name of your merchant in your property payment settings in Apaleo.
- Some payment methods require information from you or additional setup, so please check those in the table below and include all necessary information in your ticket.
- Payment methods are configured per merchant, so if you have multiple merchants, you need to set up payment methods for each of your merchants.

**SEPA Direct Debit: Can be activated for one-off payments. By default, SEPA payments are settled after 9 business days (T+9). Reduced to T+2 after meeting specific criteria.
2. Which payment methods are available on your website/IBE?
- If you use an IBE without Apaleo Pay integration: Only Mastercard, Visa, and American Express are supported. Many other methods are not available.
- If you use an IBE with Apaleo Pay integration: Check with your IBE for supported methods. IBEs integrated to Apaleo Pay can support additional methods such as PayPal and Apple Pay if the additional setup is completed.
- If you have a custom IBE: You can integrate Apaleo Pay and enable necessary payment methods by completing the additional setup.
3. Additional payment methods
The payment methods listed above are tested by Apaleo. For the full list of supported methods by Adyen, visit: Adyen Supported Payment Methods. Contact Apaleo support for any untested methods.
4. Information on additional setup
4.1 Apple Pay
The information in the table above is for enabling Apple Pay on payment links/terminals. If you want to enable Apple Pay on your IBE, additional integration work is required. Complete the integration guide first, and make sure to complete the pre go-live checklist.
If you're integrating with Apaleo Pay, verify if Apple Pay is supported by the app you are using, as additional setup may be required.
4.2 Google Pay
The requirements for enabling Google Pay on payment terminals are listed in the table. For enabling Google Pay on your IBE, you will need additional integration work, which is documented here.
4.3 PayPal
In order to use PayPal with Apaleo Pay, you need a PayPal Business account. After requesting activation from Apaleo support, configure PayPal in your account. Once activated, you will receive an email with an activation link.
The activation link is valid for seven days after receiving it.
- Open the activation link.
- Log in to your PayPal business account.
- Accept all permissions that Adyen is asking for.
