Add GooglePay to your account

To enable Google Pay on your account, please follow the steps outlined in this guide.

    1. Acquire Google Pay ID: Firstly, obtain your Google Pay ID. This unique identifier is crucial for the integration process.

    2. Send ID to Apaleo Support Team: Once you have your Google Pay ID, forward it to the Apaleo Support Team. They will use this ID to activate Google Pay as a payment method on your merchant account.

    3. Configure Google Pay & Wallet Console:

      • Go to your Google Pay & Wallet Console.
      • Add the URL eu.adyen.link to your console settings.
      • Change the Integration type to 'Gateway'. This setting is important for the correct functioning of the payment system.

    4. Provide Screenshots of Your Buy Flow:

      • Capture and provide screenshots of the buy flow on your website. This includes the entire payment process that a guest would experience from start to finish when booking and paying through your website.
      • Ensure that these screenshots are clear and sequentially ordered to accurately represent the guest's journey.

    5. Submit for Review:

      • Google requires these screenshots to understand and approve the payment flow on your site.
      • Attach these screenshots at the end of this document for submission.



Adding Screenshots for Google Pay Setting:

In total, you will need to make 5 screenshots to complete the process in Google Pay.

  • The first and second screenshots are from your own IBE - they should demonstrate how the guest would choose a room and how it looks when clicking on 'I would like to pay now'.
  • Screenshots 3, 4, and 5 should show the buy flow, including the Payment Method screen, Google Pay API payment screen, and Post-Purchase screen. Please make a screenshot copy from our example below to complete your steps 3-5.
