In apaleo you can manage the availability of the services that you are selling. You can decide when the service will be available for selling and how many services you actually have available. Follow this guide to configure limited services.
Similar to the unit group availability screen, in this screen, you can see the service availability on a calendar.
Since services are sold regardless of the type of reservation (overnight or day-use), you have to select the proper type when looking for availability.
In apaleo, availability is managed per time slice. In the case of overnight reservations, the time slice spans two days. In addition to this, services have a delivery date which, in the case of overnight reservations, it could be one day or the other depending on the service configuration.
Certain services might be configured to not be delivered on the same day as the accommodation, but rather on the next day. An example would be the breakfast service, which is consumed the morning after the stay.
Let's look at an example. In the following screenshot, we are looking at the availability for the breakfast for a reservation arriving on 25th September and departing on 26th September:
Since the breakfast is delivered on the day of departure, in this case we have 2 breakfasts available for the 26th of September.
In addition, the breakfast service in the example above is configured to be available only during weekdays. For this reason, there's no availability for the breakfast on 24th and 25th September.
Other services might be delivered on the same day as the accommodation. An example would be the baby cot service.
For an overnight reservation, the baby cot service is being delivered on the day of arrival and blocked for the whole time slice.
