Not always is the guest the person who creates the booking in the first place, but could be somebody entirely different.
It is important to understand that the booker is the person, who makes the booking with one or more reservations via the hotel website or any other channel. Whereas the guest, is the person actually staying at the hotel during the time of the reservation.
In apaleo you can distinguish between the booker and the guest while creating the booking and reservation.
After you have selected the travel dates and chosen the right offer, you can enter the details of the guest(s) who are staying at the hotel during the reservation.
Please make sure, you are clicking on the button Add Guest to add the name to the reservation.
After you click on Continue you will be able to enter the details of the person who is booking the reservation. If the booker and the guest are the same person, then you can select Copy from main guest. Otherwise please enter the booker details.
After you created the booking, you will see that the booker name will be shown on top of the booking and the guest name in the reservation.
