Depending on the payment method used by the guest, transactions are recorded in different payment accounts within Apaleo. These accounts can be accessed under Finance > Accounting > Payments.
Internal Payment Accounts:
Apaleo utilizes specific internal payment accounts to manage transactions processed via Apaleo Payment. Each type of payment method is mapped to a corresponding account, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation:

Payout Process:

Scheduled Payouts:
After transactions are recorded, they are scheduled for payout according to the settings configured in Apaleo. The payment provider (e.g., Adyen) manages the timing and frequency of these payouts. -
Payout Accounts:
Funds are transferred to the merchant's designated payout bank account. This account is configured within Apaleo's payout settings to ensure that all processed transactions are sent to the correct bank account on the scheduled payout date. -
Reconciliation:
Each transaction undergoes reconciliation to verify that the captured and settled amounts match the funds received in the payout. This ensures accurate financial records and is typically handled by reconciliation accounts like Adyen Reconciliation.
